have a quick question, slightly random but here it is:

am seriously considering moving there, have been offered a job, now just need to look in to visas, logistics etc to see if its worthwhile - would be working in an area outside the city, but would want to live in the centre (if there is one), depending on how good transport links are etc.

struggling to find any websites about renting apartments, so, and i appreciate this is a pretty vague question; does anybody know what you'd expect to pay for a 1 bed apartment in the centre?

Any help would be great ...ta

isn't that just like being in France?

Thanks for all this guys, especially the referee offer ian - although i will be leaving everyone at home - someone has to patrol our side of the north / south border so you chaps don't run riot on the place
