I've gone the last four years in May and June, but this year I only have an opportunity to go in late September. I know it's slow season and hurricane season, but is the resort dead during September?

September is a great month & a good group. Prepare for a few sweaty & muggy nights at Paty'Os due to summer humidity if there is no breeze blowing. The price is usually pretty good too.
We went last year in sept. after spending 12 days there in Jan…..We definitely noticed a big difference in how full the resort was. It was past 100% the first time there and I would guess about 70% i sept…..It was not a problem to get lounger at the sexy pool in the morning, where as at the end of jan., forget it….. Met a lot of great people though and had a great time. We did not have any rain, but I personally found it very hot….always in the water though!!
We have been the last 3 sept always had a good time with a good crowed but last year we did have a lot of rain
The bride and I are have booked our 2nd trip from Sept 25th through October 6th following our first trip that was April 5th through 11th. We get to celebrate both of our birthdays during the trip, Sept 30th & Oct 1st. Will be interesting comparing the weather from April to Sept-Oct.
We have been several times in September and love it!! Great month to go, down side is that it is Hurricane season so my advice is to purchase trip insurance just in case!!
