12 hours ago 11 nts with AlphaRooms (28th July - 8th Aug) = £1100, this morning = £1400!! I understand supply and demand but this is ridiculous, TravelBag.co.uk site is showing £1150. Has anyone used them? Cheers.
Hiya Guys yes we are booked with Travelbag and was also recommended to us by another UK couple on here. Flying with Virgin Atlantic from Gatwick. I called them instead of booking online where very helpful and had email confirmation straight away after the booking
Yep, We used them. Very helpful lady called Priscilla Soondrum. We booked our flights separately (using air mile points) and leave next week.
Reading horror stories online but i suppose if you dig hard enough every travel firm has disgruntled customers.
Travel sites and airlines have cheaper packages on a Tuesday apparently - it's to do with when people look for and book their holidays. More are likely to book on or closer to a weekend, and Tuesday is a quiet day (which is why we booked our flights yesterday at a great price!)
Just bit the bullet and booked with Travelbag, always used AlphaRooms in the past but a £300 saving is not to be sniffed at. I wonder how big a Bubba mug i could get for that
Yep, also used Travelbag, on our first trip in 2013 for our Honeymoon and now this year we have booked for October with them. Miles ahead of most, including Alpharooms in terms of Price. We also booked our Virgin Atlantic flights with them and only had to pay a £50 deposit. Remainder is payable in July. So all in all yea, great company to use. I had no complaints. In all fairness, first year we flew with Thomas Cook (who i'd never reccomend) and had a 24 hours delay. We called Travelbag to get them to amend out transfer from Cancun Airport to TTR as we would be a day late and they sorted everything out for us! Win Win! Enjoy! Sophie
