Hey, I know its unlikely to get much response, but.. I have a holiday booked for 2 going to Temptation from 20th nov to 27th nov flying from Manchester. If anyone might be interested in buying this from me please get in contact, I'm willing to sell for considerably less than I bought it for. I'm 100% genuine, and have spoken with Thomas Cook who have confirmed it is possible to transfer the holiday for an administration fee. Just to explain why I'm offering this.. Since booking the holiday I've since realised that Rui Cancun (or somewhere nearby) will probably be better suited to us as its closer to the nightlife, which as two single men in our 20's is our main motivation for visiting cancun..Unfortunately for us Thomas Cook won't change our hotel as we booked it under 10 weeks before we go. But having said that, its no big deal if no one takes me up on my offer.. Temptation sounds good, would just be nice to be closer go the nightlife.. Thanks for reading
nightlife there is a bus right outside the door runs 24 hours... every 5 minutes , only 10 minutes to the clubs and partyzone. plus Temptation is the best friendly/party atmosphere of any hotel in cancun....free bus goes to the partyzone every night at 10.30 from the resort with the animators.. I will buy you a beer when I arrive on the 25th xx:cheerleaders:
Thanks for the reassurance! I would still prefer to be right in the middle of it all if possible.. If not, I shall look forward to that expensive beer from the all inclusive bar!
Honest opinion, there's a couple of points to consider before making your mind up. First off, it'll be a huge hassle to move at this late stage, and you'll lose out with the admin fee to change the names. Secondly, as far as hotels go, TTR is known for its 'party atmosphere' day and night. You'll read loads of reviews on here where people have stayed at other resorts and it's been dull and boring where everything is closed down at night. Not sure if it's unique to TTR, but they have two nightclub-style bars, one of which is open till ~5am every day. If the Riu doesn't have its own nightclub, you'll be wanting to go out to the clubs and bars in the party-zone every night. These places aren't exactly cheap, £35 - £50 cover charge to get in, then tips to bar staff to get decent service...no way I could afford to do that every night. That's just for the cover-charge clubs too. Some bars are just 'pay for what you drink', at prices comparative to what you'd pay in Manchester City Centre. At TTR people normally stay on-resort a few nights (where drinks are free) and go down to party-zone on a few nights too, that way spreading the costs. That being said, TTR has a very unique atmosphere. There's more couples than singles, and ratio of m/f singles is probably more swayed towards single males than females. If you're going away to hook up, then you're likely to have more luck in the hotel zone party-zone. If you don't find a buyer, you'll still have a decent holiday at TTR. If it's not your thing when you arrive and see it for yourself, I reckon you could complain to the tour rep whilst there. I'm sure there's still options to move people once they get to a resort if it is completely different to their expectations.
Hi u single Brits we are from London and will be at TTR from the 8th till the 24th Although u will venture out u will have a brilliant time hear we were in TTR in January & although there is a full range of ages it is like an 18 thirties holiday. U will see more fun times at this hotel than the other stuck up regimented ones, there were hen groups stag groups all sorts Just look at the last review &then u may be more open minded to TTR Tony & Lesley
Honestly, it's not that far from the action. The don't think the party zone is more than 10 mins away and the cabs are not that expensive. I am a single gal and I had a blast! Which is why I'm going back The Rui is nice but the atmosfear at Temptations is amazing
Hi Jack, Been to Cancun 8 times in the last 10 years and believe me as 2 single guys you won't do any better for a holiday than Temptation. I'd love to buy the tickets but having just got back it's not a reality. My advice for what it's worth you won't get a better holiday than Temptation. Whatever happens have a good one. Martin
