Im currently in the beginning stages of developing my site, and I am getting ready to start my website design using dreamweaver. How many of you have used it before? Is it easy? I am a pretty technical guy, have done plenty of html codes and such, and have designed sites before, but this will be my first site that I want to make NICE! Its a travel website similar to CC, but for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Anyone used it...??

I have never used flash before...........and I know it isnt needed to have a nice site, but I will likely add sometime of flash in it. My site will be just like CC, but look nothing like it haha. Just very informative, offer hotels, discount cards, message boards, ect.............. but Im looking forward to the design actually although it will take some time!

Well obviously you don't need Flash for a "good" site, you can use anything, was justy offering a suggestion.

Oh you are technical you shall be fine..But there are tons of things out there to program with..PC and MAC..I do find that MAC programs are easier..They tend to have a lot more dummy codes and skeleton codes to work with..Jsyt a matter of entering values

yes, I have a LOT of work ahead of me. Going to get the over-all design done first. I have a pretty good domain name also, www.MBstay.com , the MB meaning Myrtle Beach. Their city site is MBcommerce.com, so I thought the MB was nice. Lots of myrtlebeach.com names taken, so mine is short and to the point, I was lucky to have it still available. It will be some time before its live, likely 3-6 months, just depends how much time and effort I put into it.

Its really very user friendly buddy much nicer and easier than HTML, if you got a history with using different IT products you will do just fine, it's almost like MS Word for Websites
