Before I say anything I want to apologize to Steve for posting this on his website but if you are like us there is UNFORTUNATELY no Steve's original Boobs Cruise during the dates we are there. We REALLY want to see Chinos so our only option is the One & Only copycat cruise that goes from the resort on Tuesday, ANybody else in our situation?????
We did try to get a Boobs Cruise together for the 7th but as you'll recall we couldnt get enough interest, probably due to it being Easter weekend and not so many couples traveling likely due to family commitments. You're right in that I really don't like publicity of the hotels cruise on cancuncare that they started 3 months ago. They copied my whole concept that took 6 years to refine and it's fair to say I am a little bitter about it. If you even mention cancuncare or the Boobs Cruise on the hotels Facebook page it gets deleted by their Facebook Admins and sometimes the person who posted it banned. I am not quite so anal about it, so I wont be deleting this. A few things I should say: Unlike the Boobs Cruise, the one and only can be hit and miss. It is sold to anyone at the hotel there at the time. Don't be surprised if there's 8 couples, 25 single guys and 5 single girls and no one volunteers for the games. It can be a totally different vibe to our 95% couples cruise. I have been given permission to book places on the one and only (they need more couples!) But the hotel guys are still not allowed to sell the boobs cruise - call it quality control if you like. If you want I can book you on it ($25 deposit required, balance on the day) before you even get there, so if you have a group and a date in mind I can fix it up even before they start selling it at the hotel to make sure you get on. I was planning on using this as a last resort option if we have a group but not enough to fill our own cruise, so now is probably a good time to mention it. I wasn't going to post this before since it shouldn't affect our own boobs cruises but I know Chinos will not be on the Tuesday April 10 one and only cruise, unless his current plans change. He has a personal commitment over in Merida 300 miles away on the 9th and is planning to return to Cancun on the 13th for our cruise the next day. Omar will be MC'ing the whole day on the 10th as far as I know. Omar is a great MC! But if you want to go specifically to see Chinos it's almost certain he wont be there. If you do want to go then please let me know and I can get you and your group fixed up. Once again, apologies we don't have the original boobs cruise for your timeframe. I do try to suit as many as possible but it doesn't always work out.
The current arrangement where you and the hotel are competing with very similar products isn't ideal but I'd rather support your concept Steve!
I am so sorry Steve! I was in no way trying to insult you and I had no idea about the resort situation. I misunderstood an earlier thread I thought said you would be working together with resort. We understand that the numbers weren't there. Just so ironic that we have been wanting to go so bad on your cruise and there is not one the whole week we are there. We REALLY wanted to see Chinos in action again so we thought the One & Only would be our only option. Again I apologize profusely and thank you for the heads up. We DEFINATELY won't be going now! We are not interested in doing the one and only, but are in same situation, we don't arrive till 8th so will not be able to go on a Boobs Cruise either, are there any other options for a party of some sort ? just asking
