I see a couple of options on Travel Republic and Alpharooms that offer Sea View Rooms and Ocean View (more $$). What the diff?
There is no difference. Just book the cheapest available room and you could always end up with ocean view if there are rooms available at the time you check in. There are no truly ocean front rooms at Temptation, except for the six ocean front suites. Otherwise, it makes no sense to upgrade to an ocean (sea) view room as the the view is not that great:
I work in travel and back in my vacation days ( I do corporate now) there is a big difference. Seaview can mean having to go out on your balcony and lean over to see a bit of the ocean vs. ocean front means oceanfront.
I was looking at the Alpharooms. There was a twin/double. Does TTR really have twins beds or is that just a standard listing for that site. We don't want to end up in two twins.lol
Rooms We booked a jacuzzi suite anyone know where these room are located??? Also are they only on the main floor??:beer4:
Here's a link to the resort map and there's a layout of the jacuzzi suites as well. We've also booked one for this trip. Hoping to get one close to the quiet bar. http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/25487-temptation-resort-map.html D
Yes, you'll see from the map and they are on the first floor surrounding the quiet pool. We've gotten one our last 5 times there and we think they are definitely worth it. Jacuzzi is on your patio, and there is a semi-translucent screen that you pull down for a bit of privacy. Plus no steps to go up after a long day/night of drinking..
Check out this public photo album on my Facebook page with several pics of the jacuzzi room and patio, and the views from the quiet pool Facebook
The best thing about being on the ground floor near the quiet pool. Climb over your wall and go to the bar. :ernaehrung005:
