so I am set to go to Florida on a vacation this weekend, and there is a hurricane around the cuba area, set to make its way close by this weekend. Should I still go down there, or try to move my flight? How is this thing looking so far?
Hey Fletch! I would tentatively keep your plans. It's still pretty early to tell where that thing is going to be headed in a few days. A few of the models have it going nowhere near where you will be. That might be lucky for you, and bad for others.
Fletch, as of a few minutes ago, it looks like for the most part florida is going to get next to nothing. Where exactly are you going again?
yo I was in Florida until yesterday morning (and basically saw Fay while I was down there - don't always believe CNN when they send a reporter on a stormy beach or in a trailer park full of shit homes that went up in the air...it looks worse than it actually is. ). All is good now.
Fletch, Hurricane parties in FL are unrivaled. It looks like Ft Lauderdale will be fine. I can't believe Curvster went to FL without me.
Fletch, if you are around Orlando, you MUST go to Pleasure Island in downtown disney (no need to have disney tickets to go). LOTS of bars/clubs/lagoons to be sick in -it's brilliant.
Pleasure Island is fun with the different kinds of clubs all in the same area... I'm sure they have something huge and expensive going in if they are closing it.
Closing Pleasure Island is a sin! Wtf is that all about!? Ooo, also they never brought us our bill at Wolfgang Puck - go there!
