    Hi all,

My wife and I are complete and total newbies to any sort of "adults only" :icon_wink: vacation and, quite frankly, we're a bit nervous about it. When I say "nervous", I mean both nervous and excited.:aktion014:

Anywho, we are looking to go around Sept 22 (15th anniversary) for about 5 nights or so, and the rates for the Jacuzzi Suite are $224 per and the Tempation Suite is $250 on their site. There is no virtual walkthrough or video that I've seen that shows the differences between the two, however.

Anyone know if there's photos, virtual walkthroughs, or videos showing the Temptation Suite? Lacking that, any opinions on which is better?

    Thanks,

    D and K

Don't sweat over it You won't be spending that much time in your room.
The Jacuzzi suites ( where I've stayed last two times and love them)are nice and are on the ground floor facing the quite pool for the most part.
    Welcome and enjoy stay.

Here's where the nervous part of the "nervous" comes in - my wife is thinking that if things are "too much" that we'll spend a fair amount of time in the room.

We've read a bunch of threads here (seems like a great community!) about first timers, etc and being nervous about going, and about the suites in general but since the price difference is just $24 per night that's what I was curious about being able to compare.

She has said that she is considering the "open drapes" thing however :).

    Thanks,

    D & K

I dont think you will find anything that goes on in the "Public Part" of Temptations to be over the Top, You will find some people acting a little more open then others, but there should be nothing that Surprises or shocks if you have read this site. This is definately not Desire or Hedonism, there isnt anything that should be considered " Too much" as long as you dont mind adult themed games and topless woman, adult language etc...

We did initially check on Hedonism and Desire - a good friend of mine warned against Jamaica and work wasn't crazy about it either. Temptation seemed like a good way to dip our toes in, so to speak. My wife goes back and forth between being excited nervous and nervous nervous. Excited nervous is winning by about 1/2 mile thus far (or we wouldn't be going)!

I looked for images and videos for the Temptation Suites and got nada on google for them and got nada useful. Seeing as it's just a total of around $125 more I'm guessing it'd be worth it?

I appreciate the quick replies - we're looking to get our trip booked this weekend or early in the week!

THe suites are nice. We typically upgrade to a jacuzzi room but our last trip one of our friends had a suite. There is a larger balcony overlooking the water. The shower/jacuzzi has a window to the ocean. There is a sitting area. If you plan on having a few people over the suite would be nice. If it were me I would book the suite but I would also be expecting somewhere between 6-8 people to be stopping by pretty frequently. If it were me and the wife I would just get the jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi is bigger in the normal room as well.

Ive seen the inside of the ocean view suite (1st floor)buy the quite pool.
The Jacuzzi was inside the suite versus on the balcony for the standard Jacuzzi suite, which does have a blind to pull down if you don't want people watching you.
The ocean view suite also had a huge balcony, The washroom was weird though it had a glass wall where the mirror should go limiting you r washroom privacy.
I'm not sure if theses are the suites you are looking at. The occupant was warned to put a stick in the patio door at night cause they were right on the beach, but we never heard of any problems when we were there with any thing. Felt like a very safe resort.
Personal I prefer the standard Jacuzzi room close to the quite bar.

Thanks for the feedback - sounds like we'll probably shoot for the Jacuzzi Suite but we'll talk it over and then post on the calendar when we're going.

    Thanks!
