Any recommendations for lowest price air/hotel packages?

Looking to head down to late July/early August. The online package via the resort website is pretty good, but wondered if anyone has had good results in pricing from another third party. Thanks for your help! :typing:

 

Best deal we found was cheapcaribbean.com

 

dont know about any packages, but highly recomend trying alpharooms for the hotel. best deal i could find by hundreds!! steve has a link under Temptation hotel deals. but you can only book hotel not airfare as it is a UK company.

We go to Temptation resort and book through orbitz. if you type in the promotion code 200entertain it will take 200 off your total package price. Orbitz seems to be the cheapest when using the $200 discount ( I think you have to have 5 nights to qualify though) Also I never book the ground transportation through orbitz. if you you check into some other places ( just look online) you could save another $62.00 or so.

 

Flightcenter.com saved 450$ for two

You have to look around. One company may be high one week, then low the next. Charters try to fill there planes and rooms, if one company has low bookings they may lower there prices while anther doesn't lower their prices.
Sometimes they go down for a day then up the next.

We ended up using SaveOnResorts.com - Discount Vacation Packages, Resort Travel Deals & Cheap Hotels to U.S. and International Destinations for 7 nights and then Book Cheap Hotel Deals, Budget & Luxury Accommodation | HotelClub for our other 2 nights and then for airfare I booked directly through sun country. It was sort of a lot of work, but it saved us $200 each compared to all the other sites. So I think it was worth it. If you use save on resorts you get a free transfer to Temptation too, you do just have to do the time share presentation, but we stand our ground so aren't worried about it.

 

I have posted this before and dont want to sound redundant however:

Orbitz is usually the cheapest (as someone mentioned the $200 coupon) and can get you there for under 1k per person tax included.

Cheapcarribean.com is similar to apple in price. Not the cheapest and when checking prices THEY DO NOT LIST WITH TAXES INCLUDED.

Alpharooms is the cheapest way to get a room only.

I did about a month of research for this trip and usually that much for others (they call me El Cheapo) and usually find that the big three: Orbitz/Cheaptickets, Travelocity, Expedia are the way to go. In that order.

This trip I booked a one week, all inclusive for two (alpha rooms) and round trip for 2 (cheaptickets) my whole package including tax was 1850.

Do the research but this is what I have found to be consistent. Also online travel companies raise prices on the weekends drop Tuesday/Wednesday (usually). Good luck.

I've had a lot of success with bookit.com Plus, if you book far enough out, you can pay it off in 3 payments so it's not quite so painful all at once.
