Our friends generously have invited us to use one of their weeks at a great price. When I emailed the premier people to enquire about the reservation they asked me for their contract number and told me it was available. When I replied to say we wanted to make the reservation they sent me an email saying that they confirmed my reservation and that the email was the confirmation. No confirmation # or no taking my credit card number etc? Is this normal? When we book through a website we always pay in advance. I don't want to get there and have them say we aren't booked or at check out time slap us with a huge bill? ANy input on this would be appreciated. This is our 8th trip so we aren't newbies to the resort.
Maybe email them and tell them you would like to pay in advance. Not sure why they wouldn't want to take your money now?
They give you till thirty days out to pay but they should send a confermation letter, you could ask Melissa on FB is you joined the group.
