We looked at going this coming weekend, but for some reason, prices were far higher than a few years ago, and hotel availability was scarce. So....we had to skip it. Maybe we waited too long.
We are going to be there the weekend after. March 6-9. Not nearly as fun as Mardi Gras, but we could not pass up a free trip.
We miss it, spent many many years going there every year, staying in the French quarter, but after reviewing how much we used to spend we started going to Mexico instead, we do miss it badly, wow great times!!:flash::lotsofmichaelfs: arriving in Cancun on the 3rd last night before Tuesday!!
