Is there a barber shop in downtown that does straight-razor shaves. My husband is looking, but doesn't want to pay the big bucks for one in the HZ.
There are barber shops, Hubby and kid always get their hair cuts from the old man in Market 28 (shop has been there forever, can't remember which side it's on, but it's on the outside, don't have to enter the maze). I'm pretty sure he'll do a straight razor shave.
This is weird but my ex g/f took me to get a haircut years ago. I went to this place many times but now I shave my head. There is this street off Tulum, across from Plaza 2000 and there are many shops there. It's about $50 Mxn for a basic cut. My bff on this board goes there from time to time and I have pictures to prove it. What is weird is that all of the haircutters, as far as I can tell, are female impersonators, transsexuals, transvestites or the like. But they are all about your hair when you go there. It is in SM 1 and either Calle 8 or 10 but it runs one way TOWARD Tulum. It would be the last or next to last street on the right before Lopez Portillo if you are coming from Chichen Itza. Take a camera. Hey bff, do you need another cut from the "girl" taller than you who has a better _____? Je je.
