As we all have read, we have a new German food source at www.deli-aleman.com which my wife and I have sampled and found to be quite good. Now we have another site, www.chefdieter.de.vu (don't forget the .vu). For the moment, the site is in German, but I've convinced him of the need for an English language site and he's working on it. He, is Dieter Biebelriether (try saying that with a mouth full of rye bread) and he's got a long history of catering and baking, including providing food services for lots of the Hollywood studios, (confession: we have friends in common). As with Deli Aleman, you place your order by phone or email, and because Dieter delivers to Cancun's hotels (see the website for details) he'll deliver when he's on a hotel run, which is one or two days a week, or you can pick up your order at his home in Puerto Morellos. We ordered some breads and cakes from him, which he dropped off today. He's a wonderful baker. We made pigs of ourselves tonight with salami and sausage from Deli Aleman and breads from Chef Dieter. Then we had stollen from both. This is not good for my waistline.
BAYERNBROT website now in english Hi to everybody in the community, First we wish all of you a nice and funny new years eve and a successful and healthy 2010. Special to Mel: I took your advice and translate (at least) the presentation of our bakery site. The other pages of my website are soon also translated in English. If you have any questions about our bread, the orders or how do you store the bread correctly, just call me or send me an e-mail. For your information, our bread is since a week in the supermarket “Casa Martin” (in the middle of Puerto Morelos) available. In Playa del Carmen we deliver every Tuesday and Friday our bread. For more information see our website. On our website you find all the ingredients what we use, baking process and some pictures from our bread. Have a nice New Years Eve......... chefdieter www.chefdieter.de.vu
