An apology to my friends in the Great White North!!!

I wanna apologize to my Canadian friends. I seemed to have upset a few of you on an earlier thread that Steve closed before I could respond. I truly was trying to just get a rise out of you. I did not mean to offend anyone. The first drinks on me when we meet.

Truth is Keith, I drink the hell out of Crown. It's pretty much my go to whiskey.

 

If you like Crown? You should have Gibsons Rare! Smooth! I am a whiskey guy and like a lot of different kinds!

 

I've not tried Gibsons rare... Just read about it...It sounds great. I've been drinking alot of Eagle Rare as of late. Its smooth and fantastic. I really like in in an old fashion or just straight up. I also drink McCallens scotch as well. The price points are up there a bit. But, as I see it, Life's too short to drink cheap booze.. Unless Im partying at Temptation. The hangover is worth it to spend time with the great people at my favorite resort in Mexico!!!

 

Thing is a lot of use know each other hear , in person or from the forum, and we will post a joke aimed at those we know, ( knowing they will understand our sarcasm), forgetting that the people that don't know our sarcasm are freak-en out and not getting it.

Those beers are going to be good (hopefully there Canadian )

Personally I don't see any reason for an apology... I like differences of opinion, a good joke, some ribbing and realized that you were just trying to get a rise out of us... You didn't upset me. As Donald pointed out sometimes people take posts literally, when it should of been taken as a jab, joke, or sarcasm.
Cheers and I look forward to sharing a drink or two with you someday. But don't forget you will be the one under the table when we're through...LOL :aktion030:

To all of you that read the previous post from "toochit" thank you for the laughs and the good ol fashion ribbing. To those of you that took it seriously, I am sorry that you didn't fnd the humor in the thread and I appologize if it cause you any ill will and felt as though I was truly insulting your country.

To all of those that are wondering why the thread was closed... I asked steve to delete/close down "Toochit" and any thread it/I had commented in. To his credit he wanted to keep it up so that peopl ewould keep their posting counts and be able to read through it to see what is actually what without 1000's of questions. Thanks again and I am sorry it got out of control and went a lil sideways.
