its pretty big here in ct, my school has a rugby team and has pretty well attended matches there also is a new haven rugby league
Yes, it's fairly well represented here... even my school, the University of South Florida in Tampa, has a club team http://www.usfbullsrugby.com/ they also have a women's team.
Ye was viewing the Us leagues site all the teams come out of the North east other than Jacksonville http://www.amnrl.com/teams/index.html
one of my best friends here at my school plays for our rugby team.....never been to a game...er...match...er...idk what to call it, but from what i hear its pretty intense
Because your from kent dont get how could go for union over league its slow less open and free flowing and the emphasis is on kicks not actually playing 'rugby' lol what union needs to do is drop 3 points for a kick as it kills of tention in games and there much easier to score than tries so should be rewarded less points not same. the atmosphere and pasion in grounds is also differant union is very much a middle to upper class sport where they all sit quietly sipping tea not getting behind the team aving a good old sing which makes the atmosphere at games much more enjoyable lol
