Ok, so last Monday I turn in my paperwork for my new FM3 (already had the 1st one for 5 years and need a new book), and was told to return today. In the office at 9:15, get to the window; they check the computer, and say to pick up the payment form and return on Wednesday with 3 copies. Out of Immigration at 9:45. When I get back in home in Puerto Morelos, I receive a phone call from Immigration....what????? The lady explains that they made a mistake by telling me to come back on Wednesday, as she hadn't noticed that I needed a new book. She tells me I have an appointment for next Monday at 11:00 for my fingerprints and make sure I bring my photos. She then said that she called so I wouldn't waste a trip back on Wednesday that wasn't necessary!!!! Wow!! Things are getting unbelievably better.
