Does anyone know the difference between AlphaRooms room types... Double Room Deluxe Room 2012 trip - Double Room = Room overlooking quite pool with kingsize bed 2013 trip - Double Room = Room overlooking quite pool with 2 double beds 2015 trip - Double Room = ???????? Is it just what is available at the time you check in? To be honest the 2 double beds sucked and they refused to move us everyday we asked. Cheers guys and gals.
Honestly? Unless you pay for the upgrade of the ocean view room, you end up wherever. And Ocean View means that if you can have at least one foot on the floor of the balcony and be able to lean/contort yourself over the railing and be able to glimpse the blue of the ocean, you have an ocean view room. So really anything except Buildings 4 and 5. Other than that, there is no difference in room types. Well.. the is the suites, jacuzzi rooms, ocean view and run of the house (which is everything else). If you do end up with two double beds, best advise is one for sex and one for sleeping.. that way no one gets to roll over into the "wet" spot. Jamie
Now they have rooms listed as Room Only and All Inclusive. . Anyone know what's up with that? Aren't all the rooms all inclusive?
They (TTR) used to have room only when they first bought the resort that is now Building 1. Thought they did away with that, but if not, then you would get a different color band and not be able to eat and drink for free. Why? Jamie
That was my fear so I got the more expensive room. . But as far as I know there's no way to pay for any food or drink around there so it just seems odd
all rooms are all inclusive buy the cheapest room online and if you want to upgrade do it on check in at resort. way Cheaper that way.
There is no room only option, everyone is all inclusive. The 2 double beds are ground floor rooms and intended for same sex singles. If you dont like your room just ask to change and they will accommodate you 9 times out of 10.
