Alpharooms Help?

    Ok, so after listening to the advice of several CCC forum members I booked our next TTR trip via Alpharooms. I usually only book through Expedia since I'm an Elite member there and Expedia has always been great.

    So, when I booked through Alpharooms I got a great price but I also got double-charged and it set up 2 identical trips. I received 2 emails with booking requests. That was very strange but I thought, Oh well, glitches happen.

    Then I logged in to the Account page and cancelled 1 of my trips. The system noted my question but no response was given and the trip still shows as active. That was 10 freaking days ago. I have sent multiple messages to them with no response and, more worrying, is that 10 days later I still have not yet received any confirmation for the 1 trip we actually do want. They say to wait 72hrs, its been a lot more than that.

    Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    I would call the 800 number

    Yeah, that was my first inclination. Too bad they do not show one on their website or in any email they sent me. Maybe I've overlooked it.........

    I show their number as 0871 911 -0030. You probably have to dial the country code first since they are in the UK.

    this is happen to me before but this was my fault of clicking it twice, I was impatient on the loading screen.... just call them and it will be fixed. No issues and customer service is great. The money will be refunded quick.

    Good news! Alpharooms reached out to me through PM here. I'll update this thread once we get everything resolved.

    The rep was very understanding and friendly!
