Hi there! We are totally new to this forum and TR, but we are going to be in Mexico in a few weeks and want to stay at TR. When we checked the resort's website they show they are booked the night's we want to stay, however we read about great deals on alpharooms and they show the rooms are available. We assume they book several rooms then broker them out, but we just want to make sure it is legit. thanks in advance and we look forward to meeting many of you!
Welcome to the Board! Yes Alpharooms is legit. I've booked my rooms through them for the last couple with no problems. Jamie
Lots of great people here and a great way to meet them before you go so that you show up with lots of ready made friends to make your vacation great! Jamie
Used alpharooms the last 3 times to TTR...they are legit. Just make sure you call your credir card company letting them know you are making a reservation from a UK company.
Welcome to Cancuncare! Yes alpharooms is legit! We booked 12 days in June with them this year with no problems!
Travel Insurance I'm about to book with alpharooms and noticed when trying to purchase insurance it shows below to check the box: I have read and understood Terms and Conditions of the travel insurance policy and confirm that I am a UK resident. I'm not a UK resident and when looking at "Terms and Conditions" all the repayments are in Pounds I guess. So now not sure if should purchase insurance if it will not cover me and I really need some type of coverage since coming from a deployment I might have to change or even cancel reservations if something comes up before July.....my travel dates. Even though Alpharooms is cheaper just curious if I should go with Expedia and pay more for the Insurance Coverage?
You cann't use the UK insurance.......I use alpharooms and you can get insurance seperate.......google travel insurance and there are other companies out there and about the same price if not cheaper then expedia. Insuremytrip.com is the one I have used before
