Anybody have any recent trips to All Ritmo? Thinking of taking the family there next year. Have read some reviews on trip advisor and it doesn't sound that great. Our kids our 12,6, & 4. Sorry for a boring thread!

We have been wondering too. Looking at taking our kids next August. They will be 17, 16, and 12. Also looking at possibly using the RCI portion of our membership.

We have been three times with our kids over the years. They are currently 16 and 10. Last trip was last August. We always have a great time , but we are not hard to please. I would completely understand the people who go there not knowing it is a kid centered resort and have a bad review.

Yes, rooms are twice the size of TTR. We always get one that is literally feet from the beach. Just walk out the sliding glass door!!! Also, they have a microwave and fridge in them, with a short wall that is great to put kids in the single beds . Food is not great for what we like, but kids love it. We didn't go hungry, but it is def kid food. They have four theatrical shows a week with the ones at night having a excellent buffet. Yes, beach is much better but hell we have several stock tanks that have better than TTR lol!!!! We drink waaaaay more there than u would think, mainly because they have a very nice inside bar that has kids games at night. So we sit and drink while they play. Also have a decent water park. But remember, all of us including the kids are very easy to please on vacation in cancun lol.

We went to All Ritmo with our membership in June. I would say it's great for younger kids, but might be boring for older kids. Our 6 year old had a blast and was already asking to go back next year. There are lots of activities and the entertainment staff is great (PG version of TTR).

The rooms are bigger than TTR, but seem very dull. The beds are small and very firm. We had a room right on the beach which was amazing and wish we could get the same at TTR.

The food is good, but not as good at TTR. The buffet was a little smaller than TTR and they do have an omelette station in the morning. We went to two of the three sit down restaurants. The international sit down place was very good (mainly seafood items) and the Mexican sit down place was OK.

For the price we paid using our membership I'm sure we will go back. If we didn't have our membership then we would probably explore other places. It also sucks that it's so far away from the hotel zone.

The resort is disgusting. Anybody who would give it even a cursory glance has absolutely no idea what a well-run classy establishment is like. The beach is disgusting. The pool is gross. It's small and rooms are filthy. The bathrooms are old mildewy and filthy. The staff is an attentive and lazy. The place is a pigsty. Stay away. Run away. Don't go there. For what your pain you could find other really good resorts in the hotel Zone with beautiful beaches and much much more for your children to do. The food was disgusting the drinks look like they would be done don't go there

The younger kids will have a lot more fun than the teenagers. There were teenagers around, but it didn't appear as they were having as much fun as the little kids. Then again their teenagers, so it kinda sucks for them anyway. They are to young to drink, but normally not as outgoing and fun as the little kids.

Our son became friends with a 12 year old girl while we were there and she was having a lot of fun. She had an older brother who didn't look like he was having as much fun. They do have volleyball and pool basketball daily which is great for the teens.
