As I understand it, the resort is all inclusive which includes alcohol, but the rooms are only stocked with non alcoholic beverages. Is that true? The reason I am asking is that we've booked a jacuzzi room, and if we'd like to drink can we get a bottle for free upon request or does it have a price? I hope we don't have to venture away from the resort for alcohol to take back to the room. This leads to another question, what is the tipping policy? Only been to one other resort which had a no tipping policy. I don't want to falsely assume the same if they are expected at TTR.
If you want a bottle you will have to buy it off resort We all bring Bubba's ,, good to fill and bring back to room,\ there is a small bar right outside the Jaccuzi rooms tipping is optional but most tip 20 peso a round or 1$ a drink,

There is a bar really close to the jacuzzi rooms. And if you tip really well (we gave him a $20 and asked him to take care of us) then he will walk over to your jacuzzi and bring you rounds when he sees you out there. Ours was pretty close so easier than some others so I am sure that is a factor too. We also carry on a 750ml bottle each for the trip.
I noticed several of the tumblers on Amazon are metal. Is this a problem at the airport? Did you carry it in a carry on or pack it in the checked bags? Just trying to avoid any delays.
Think more along the lines of the large insulated coffee mugs with the lid. But its no big deal, if you don't have them, it's one less thing to worry about! I don't. Try not to over think this stuff, you'll have a great time!! :daveandmo: George
