For those of you April Addicts that know Ed & Susan Willis from Fairbanks, this was just posted tonight on FB. Keep our son Eddie in your thoughts & prayers.Sat. evening he collapsed while playing basketball and went into cardiac arrest. his life was saved by a AED & a young man at the Alaska club who had to use it twice on Ed , Can't find the words yet but will look forward to thanking him. Thanks to Alan & Katie can't imagine better friends . love U both. We will keep you posted. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery Eddie. Ed & Susan... We have never met but know everyone you have ever met from TTR and Cancuncare is praying for you and your son. Just to add to this... There are a few people on this forum that have extra income or moneys they need to do something good with. Might I suggest looking into getting with others in your area and donating an AED to your local Boys/Girls Club or high school or even your local recreation dept. As we can read right here, from people we know, lives can be saved with these AED's. On another forum I am a member of they got together and purchased an AED for a small town that did not have the means to buy one. It saved someone in the first 6 months...thank goodness they haven't had to use it since (2 yr's.). Please think about paying alittle forward and helping save a life.
