There is a GOP conference going on relating to global warming- I just heard that Al Gore refuses to show up during the opening statements made by the GOP because he does not want to listen to critics of global warming and the other side of the argument. Interesting :?:
Funny- Just heard he is still not there. While I think there may be some truth to global warming, I also believe there is not enough evidence, and it has not been researched for long enough- honestly, we've been keeping temp. records for how long- 160 years? The other thing that bothers me is that a top scientist, Dr. William Gray- who for years was the man responsible for giving yearly estimates of the hurricane season- does not entirely agree with Gore's theory. Another scientist has pointed out there are more polar bears alive today than 20 years ago. It makes you wonder- And don't even get me started on his "carbon offsets". That's a good one :lol:
