Ok..we have everything books but the big question is...What is the best/least expensive/fastest way to get from the airport to the resort. I appreciate any feedback that you provide! Thanks!

Best, least expensive and fastest arent always compatible with each other :)

Least expensive, catch the shuttle bus to downtown Cancun and then take the public bus. Could probably do it for no more than $10 (one way) but it might take you a couple of hours and you'll have to lug your luggage around yourselves. Vacations dont come around that often and you really dont want to waste time doing that to save a few dollars.

Best and fastest? Many people here swear by USA Transfers (that text should be a link, if the forum software is working ok). One way private transport (for 2 people) is $35, return is $55.

We are currently on vacation in the UK and arrive back in Cancun Saturday. After an 11 hour flight and with 2 young kids we want to get home the best and most cost effective way ourselves and our USA Transfers booking is already made.

USA Transfers all the way! We've used them two years in a row and have them booked for our trip next week. The vans are nice, drivers are very friendly (same one both times for us), and they have reasonable prices. I haven't tried any other airport transportation, however, I do know they do a great job and you can't beat a direct route to fun in the sun!!

    7 days!! Woohoo!!!

USA Transfers is definitely the way to go in Cancun. No waiting for a shuttle to fill up. It would have cost us $48 for a shuttle, which from airport to hotel would take about 2 to 3 hours, whereas for $55, my wife and I immediately exit the airport, find our USA Transfers man with a sign with our name on it, he directs us to a waiting vehicle, we get in, the vehicle leaves, takes way less than an hour. And if you are staying at Temptation, then USA Transfers is the ONLY way to go as it is one of the last stops on the dreaded shuttle, so you would have to wait to drop off 3 or 4 other couples at their hotels first.

I did plenty of research on this and USA Transfer is the best option, widely recommended on this site and the least expensive.

Not a plug...its simply the truth...

Forgot to mention, you will not find a $55 round trip with online booking and recommended by entire board, I tried looking...

Another thing about USA Transfers, they are always there. We have had a couple of unfortunate delays over the years but no matter how late our flight was, they were always waiting for us. They track your flight so they know if your flight is delayed. Nice to know

ditto this, we had a trip that was delayed 1 hr in phx (due to weather in dallas) which caused us to leave dallas two hours late. then because of the weather when we arrived in cancun due to all the late flights arriving at once customs was waaaay understaffed and took over an hout to get through that. :angrymad:
BUT, when we finally walked outside almost 4 hours late...:clappyinghappy::clappyinghappy::clappyinghappy:
there was a guy there with a sign with my name and off we went.

    best way to go.
