So I go online to Steve's link to schedule my transportation to/from TTR. According to the transportation website, it is $9 one way or $17 round trip. When I put in my information, it is charging me double $34. So I call the 800# and speak with a rep and he does not know why the prices are quoted the way they are. He recommended that I just arrive at the airport and the driver will charge me the single rate versus the double. Has anyone else just arrived and hopped in the van without any trouble as a single passenger? I'm arriving Monday the 9th between 12 and 1pm.

I never heard of transfer prices that cheap. Where did you find them? What was the company name?

I got the information from Steve's link on airport transfers. The one I'm looking at is for the shared rides with Best Day travel - regular not VIP.

OK I see where you got it. I also see the post is about 2 1/2 years old. I wonder what the current prices are? I bet they are still good though. Just remember with a shared transfer you will be stopping at all the other resorts first. Temptations is the last stop, thus it takes about an hour longer to get to the hotel vs a private transfer. Might be worth the savings though. Good luck & have a nice trip!

I checked this one out, it does seem that the link defaults to 2 persons minimum, even if you change it to 1 person the price remains for two. Not sure why that happens - but the linked site is not mine so it's not something I have the rights to change.

I will send them an email about it in the morning

I'd like to know more about it, too. I travel alone and usually book Orbitz and use their transfer($34. r/t for one person) but it is awful. 1.5 to 2 hours to get to Temptations and last time, they showed up more than an hour early for pick-up! The driver did not speak English at all so the front desk clerk told me that he said I must go or they will not come back for me. The only bad part of my trips has been the transfers!!!

tere, I always use entertainment plus at the bottom of this site. It is a little more expensive.....not sure of the single rate, but it is reliable and always there, even when my plane was delayed. They go straight to the resort, unless you want to stop at Walmart.

I used them the second time we went, didnt want to stop at every resort, and have been back 11 times since then, and always use them, to me it is worth the extra money.....just IMHO....

We have used Best Day everytime we have gone and the rates are what is quoted we have been pretty happy with them. It is a shared ride but the stops usually ave. 3 and are pretty quick. The return always has temptations as the last pick up so return is just as fast as pvt. transport. They have a desk in the resort so scheduling has always been easy

The company Orbitz uses is GrayLine and it is no deal when you consider the hassle. It's just been convenient to book when I book the package. I always say never again..but I guess, never say never! I'm going to see if I can cancell it!

I was trying to sign up with my USA transfer and they wanted me to register for an account number which I don't remember doing last year, is that new or legit?
