Hi there! Does anyone know how much time to allow for a pick up from our hotel to take us to the airport? We are staying in the hotel zone, in the Gran Melia, and I know we need to be at the airport 2 hours ahead of time, but wasn't sure how much time to allow for the pick up? Would an hour be too much time? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!
Who's picking you up? If you are using a transportation service they will tell you what time they are picking you up. If you are using a tour company where transportation is included then they too will tell you what time you are being picked up. And an hour is not sufficient time. I usually get picked up by CancValet about 2-2 1/2 hours before my flight depending on the time of year.
I was going to set it up with Cancun Valet, like some people have used with good service. On their website it asked what time we wanted for a pick up, and I wasn't sure what to do. I was thinking of allowing an hour to get from the hotel to the airport, in addition to the two hours to sit at the airport. (a total of 3 hours before our flight leaves) We are leaving at 10:40 am, and I was thinking of putting a pick up time of 7:30. Does that make sense? I had sent an email to Cancun Valet but didn't get a response back. (I had in the past, so maybe something was wrong with our computer) Thanks!
They may just be busy. When did you send it? I think a 7:30 pick up time soun good but even if you put a pick up time downthey'll figure it out for you. if you don't hear from them in a day or two you might wnat to send just an e-mail asking if they received your reservation.
Ok, thanks for the help. I'll put down the 7:30 pick up time, and see if they change it. I thought I had to put one down in order to fill out the form. I had sent the email the end of last week, but figured I could get my answers here if I needed to. No big deal. Thanks again for the help. Now I just wish we had a later flight going home, oh well, next time.
End of last week?? I'd send them an e-mail now. I'm thinking they didn't get it or soemthing else screwy happened because that seems like a long time for them. Theyare usually so prompt in responding.
I agree...I bet they didn't get the email...lost in cyberspace. Try again....and don't worry, they'll get you back to the airport on time.
