Going Nov 17 to 23rd... two 29 year old males from Pennsylvania. First time at TTR... first time in Mexico actually. I see a wide range of recommendations on getting from the airport to the hotel. Our main issue is we want to stop at the WalMart on the way, as others have noted... Expedia offered us 'shared shuttle transportation' for $24 each... or 'private shuttle transportation' for $80 each (includes airport to hotel, as well as hotel to airport on checkout day) *is it customary to just tip the driver and have him hang out 15 minutes while we run into walmart? *Do cabs do this without the meter cranking for a tip? Are there any other options? In return for your help, we'll donate our volleyball skills to any team looking to win some games
