We are heading to Temptation with another couple in a few weeks. In the past, we have traveled alone and always took a Grayline shuttle to the resort. This time, since there are 4 of us, we are considering taking a taxi from the airport. Where do you hire the taxi, in the airport or after you exit the airport? Is it that last desk area in the center, right before leaving the airport terminal?

    Thanks

We generally just walk out of the terminal (3, I think) and head to the Shuttle Desk that is right there, just before you exit out. That's where we book the "taxi / shuttle". If there's 4 of you, you shouldn't have a problem getting a van-type shuttle, although you may have to wait til they fill the van with people before they leave, depending on how busy it is.

We don't bother pre-booking the shuttle before we leave home.

We took a taxi in February and the cost was $45 for 4 adults and luggage. All of the taxis that I saw were either vans or Tahoe size vehicles. $35 back to the airport. Absolutely zero waiting. Just walk out and have the transportation guy call over one of the taxis that are waiting.

What's the best option if it's only 2 of us?

The taxi was very fast and the cost was 45 for 4 people, 25 for the return. We have always used a shuttle in the past, Grayline, which was around 56 roundtrip. For the extra money, I would use a taxi.

25 from resort to airport. It used to be 20 bucks from resort so we only had 20's and up. So it cost me 40 from resort. Lol. Have lower bills on you would be a good plan.

Since it was almost Christmas time i just said merry Christmas , he was happy

Just returned from Temptation yesterday, it was $45 from the airport for us. Just make sure that you ask the triver to take the toll road. It will make the trip to the resort real quick.

Your right , it was 45

The trip through town is always interesting

We have been many times and only went the toll booth way once , my guess is when they have to pay to go through , cuts into profits
