airport tax

hi all we are from the uk.and we will be there in october. thay say we can only pay departure tax in pesos or uk pounds then someone said you can pay in dollers is there any one from the uk or the usa or canada that can any one put us right on this thanks . jill an dan.

 

It's only pounds or pesos. You used to be able to pay in dollars but now they don't accept dollars. I think it's still £45 (or $800 pesos).

Latest we got was it's gone up to £50 per person, definitely NOT dollars, pesos accepted.

Nothing for you to worry about, just us Brits, you pay it as part of your airfare.

The airport Tax seems to only apply to charter flights, last few times we've flown Virgin (scheduled) & there's no mention of it

As I pay tax for my flight when I book =D But as an advice you shoul pay in pesos, it's less
