Anyone else play the airport game? We're in TO airport now waiting to board and are guessing who else is going to TTR. Slim pickings this trip - we both only think one other couple haha
Same here in SAT and HOU. Met a couple we knew a bit heading to Desire. Lioking at 4 now, a guy and 3 girls as possibles. But just overheard “wedding” so probaly not. Well unless it is an open marriage!
Maybe they should add flight numbers to the roll. That way the party can get started in the airport. It might help make those travel days more fun. Also might be able to recruit others to help carry all those bags of shoes also!
We love the airport game!!! We find it's best played while in the customs line at the Cancun airport as everyone is excited to get to their resort, many have changed into vaca clothing prior to landing, and the hormones are buzzing. Wait, maybe that buzz is just the remote-control vibrating egg. We've guessed correctly a few times, the most memorable being a solo lady whom we ID'd in line as a likely TTR guest, a fact confirmed during our first night. Ms Skibum saw her dancing at Paty-O's, talked to her, and came back with the surprising news the lady lives in a nearby(ish) town even smaller than ours. During trip #1 we became friends with one of the groups who hit TTR annually. A few of the couples live in/near Toronto and have flown down together, the "fun" starting at the TO airport. Despite us living in BC we've been tempted to book our flight down such that we'd add one more couple to their party flight. That could easily qualify as a "seemed like a good idea at the time" situation.
LOL. We love the airport game! Makes the trip more exciting. We'll be playing it in 9 days departing from Calgary!!
On our first trip to TTR we paid for a shared shuttle (7 couples). We knew we were going to be one of the last couples to be dropped off. As we were getting closer to TTR, we asked the driver what hotel was next and he said Temptations...we giggled a little, thinking the other 2 couples were going elsewhere and low and behold all of us got dropped off at TTR. We all started laughing, probably because we were all thinking the same thing
