Well, we had one yesterday. We jumped to what appeared to be a shorter line. One of the INM agents objected to us changing lines and ordered back to where we were. Before we could move my wife interjected that we were permanent residents. The agent then asked us to follow him to the Mexican line, which had no one in it, and we were processed without any further waiting. The experience left me puzzled because I couldn't be sure why he gave us preferential treatment, though it was nice to get processed ahead of the hundreds of tourists that were in the long lines.
