Looking for tips to maintain the A/C in the rooms. Recall something about hanging a ribbon in front of the wall unit? Magnets for the doors??
And open to other tips also.

    suction cup hooks purchased
    Bubba mugs
Bash outfits and accessories bagged individually

The units are motion detecting. When you leave the room, they shut off so when you return the rooms tend to be hot. So we hung a large piece of paper with tape in front of it, which moves constantly and keeps the fan blowing. It worked like a charm

When you slide the balcony doors open you will see contacts on the bottom channel. Place a magnet on it to keep the door open and ac on. We got ours from the local doller store. About the size of a quarter.

Not sure of the motion detectors, however their systems are not so dependable. I'm not sure we have ever had a trip where we didn't end up having to call a technician in to get our AC going. A faulty door switch was the culprit on one trip.

We have had good luck. 14 trips and never an issue. Last trip for New Years dont count as we had to add an extra blanket and everyone was wearing jackets a couple nights at Bash.

Never had problems with the air. In fact the room tends to be cooler that we like. House cleaning tends to turn the temp down (make it colder than we like) . It can be Fu*king cold when we get back to the room from the pool or bash, so we usually turn off the air and open the patio door to warm it up .. but then it gets humid fast. We usually go in June and get a Tower room. I don't know if Tower room air conditioning works different than the rest of the resort. And no, VegasKitty, it does not shut off at night. We'll get an extra blanket to stay comfortable.
