Was just wondering what the age range is at TTR. Is there a lot of young and single around or just mostly couples?! I'm saying this as me and 5 friends have just booked TTR for 2 weeks on the 15th June 2013! 6 males ranging from 22 to 28! Looking to have a good time and party! Wondered if it was that kind of hotel! Also what nationalities tend to be there more! We are British, be nice to meet people from different countries! Thanks
I'd agree with Donald on the average age range. It is mostly couples, and of the singles that are left males outnumber females about 4 to 1. In June the majority are going to be from the US, and quite a few more Brits. Canadian numbers are high at the start of the year but tail off towards summer. It's fair to say that in the past groups of young British lads have caused a lot of problems at the hotel (I can say that without being prejudice since I'm a Brit myself), others might shy away from mentioning it. So please go down there enjoy yourselves and be respectful of staff and fellow guests and if you do that you'll get respect back and make a ton of friends. May I ask what made you choose Temptation?
Steve, Thomas Cook market TTR in the UK as "not suitable for couples" if you can believe that! Which is why, I assume, so many groups of lads think it's going to be singles heaven. Maybe the resort isn't aware of how it's being advertised?
Oh right yeah. Yeah I know what you mean Steve. I think groups of British lads have got abit of an unwanted reputation of being abit loud and trouble some. Our group is far from like that though, we just want to relax and have abit of fun. I'm sure we will make friends there. We wouldn't be disrespectful to anyone. Well it's our first time to cancun Steve and TTR caught our attention because it's an adults only hotel, also like gogoblanco said it is advertised with singles in mind, people looking to have fun. I'm sure there's plenty to do outside of the hotel aswell with bars and nightclubs. I can't wait to see what it's like.
Oh you will have fun! Just don't expect it to be wall to wall single hot totty! (Plenty of hot totty you understand, but mostly with a man in tow). But, I doubt whether you've ever holidayed anywhere like it, be sure to bring your outfits for the theme nights - lingerie night is one you won't want to miss! :daisy:
Here's some quick, purely observational details from our last trip in Aug 2012: The average age was around 35. Ages ranged from 20 to 60+. Guessing 85% were couples, 15% singles. 80% of the singles were male. Regardless, it's a great atmosphere to party, and there's definitely alot to do at the resort (Pool games, volleyball, theme nights, ...) and off-resort (Coco Bongo, ...), but don't expect a line-up of topless single dimes to greet you at the door. :icon_cool:
You see I've always wondered where the hell all the single women go on vacation. You never hear of a resort where the single women congregate. Come to TTR single ladies, I'll beat off the hordes of ill mannered men trying to hit on you! Wait a minute, that may not be the best phrasing...
Dos, we've got to work on your phrasing! I don't think single women vacation. Every place we have gone, it is by far skewed toward couples. TTR is all over the place in ages with most being in the 35-50 range. It doesn't really matter though, because at TTR age is really just a number. At TTR your age is irrelevant. All that matters is the kind of person you are. Good people having good times and that's what life is supposed to be about anyway!
