My wife and I are Hedo II and Breezes Grand (Negril) regulars. We wanted to try something new and Temptations comes highly recommended by fellow Negril lovers. Biggest concern for my wife is the age of most guest at Temptations appears to be a LOT younger than Hedo. Most folks don't realize it, but most times at Hedo (and Breezes) the average age is at least 45+. (and lots of 50-60 years olds). We are in our mid 50s and don't want to feel out of place. My wife can still stop traffic in her bikini, but worries a lot about this.
I say, "give it a shot!" I would say that the average age range was 35-45 when we visited last September. There were some couples in their 70's though. We are in our early 30's, and I found myself to be the baby in a group of friends we met. I never felt judged though. That is one of the best parts about TTR!!
My first time TTR was terrifying because of the same reasons related to age. My husband had to work hard to convince me to go. I'm so happy he did. We are in our late 40's, early 50's and have never felt uncomfortable due to our age. It's a great time where age really isn't an issue. We out did some of the younger ones and they loved parting with us. Give it a try and have a fun time. We'll be heading down for our 3rd time in Dec. and can't wait. Cheers!
Hi. . .just thought we'd give you some thoughts, as we too luv NEGRIL beach, and have been to Hedo II and Sandals Negril many times. Don't let age stop you from going to TTR. You'll be totally comfortable and feel right at home. You won't be the oldest either, not by a long shot. Not even in the burger line at 3 a.m. will you be the oldest at Paty'os. If you are like us you will be saying Hedo who? We have never returned to Hedo since finding Temptation. Too many pretentiuos ppl there and lousy apathetic staff. You will have waay more fun, better food, warmer ppl, caring staff and save some $$$ and prolly will be planning your next TTR trip b4 you check out. However the 2 things you will miss is au naturel and that awesome beach. Nothing is comparable to Negril beach. But Desire (sister resort to TTR) is something to consider if decent beach and sans textile are priorities. But again AGE will not be a factor there either. So go ahead and book your baptism to our mecca called Temptation.
Hey Breezes- I'm 50 & my gf is 36. This Nov 10th will be our 5th time. We had never had or know anybody else that had a problem with age.
I would agree....................30-55 age range! Just be nice and friendly...........that will get you a long way!!!!
Just got back. I am 51 and my boyfriend is 63...we had a wonderful time. Age doesn't matter. There were a wide range of ages this weekend. Age Is a number. Go and have fun!!
Temptations is great! The whole time you will be saying "nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit!" Age is not something you will worry about!
