just a quick rant! we booked a trip in sept. 2015 for 8 nights. fly out 29th aug. thru sept. 6th. well both were straight thru flights on aero mexico airlines. thought is was a pretty good deal. well get email saying flight was changed they no longer were leaving on the 6th. but had a straight thru flight on the 7th. so we took the change and booked additional night at the resort. then lo and behold, they sent another email days later stating that that flight was cancelled and was a layover flight much earlier! well sat on the phone for hours! really 1 and a half to be exact, only to be told their was nothing to do about it but cancel trip! so we took the change. has anyone ever had this problem with areo mexico before? if they change it again, we will cancel and try to rebook package with diff. airline. I cant believe that they can do this! If we wanted to change flights or times leaving out at diff. time they charge big bucks but they can change it by a whole day and too bad!!
That's why we only book with U.S. carriers. Mexico does not have much restrictions on what their airlines can do. Plus, a buddy of mine is a mechanic for a major airline and he says that their maintenance standards are lower and practices substandard. IMHO, it's just not worth the savings. And with what you are going through it could end up costing you a bunch of money.
I've seen the flight you are talking about from SLC and I believe it was actually serviced by Delta!!?? Or am I mistaken?
yep serviced by delta. yep, all I know is one more, and we cancel and rebook through a diff. airline! crazy!
