Have never been to Canada. Most of my experience has been in and around the Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina border. There are a series of rivers spawned by the Smoky Mountains that offer Is and IIs up to IIIs an IVs on the Ocoee. They are also offering zip lines that are newly opened at some of the same locales. We are going to spend a couple of days in a yurt on the Nantahala and zip and raft the first week in July. The Nantahala is rather tame but will be the first time we zip. There are numerous kayak opportunities near where in live in the Florida panhandle, including Turkey Creek which is the most beautiful little creek and thirty minutes from the house. You can take a 3 or 4 hour short trip or a 5-6 hour long trip which ends at a bayou that empties in to the Choctawhatchee Bay which empties in to the Gulf of Mexico. Most of the land is owned by Eglin AFB and the rest is a state park.

That is awesome. I am not real big on heights, so I am a little iffy on the zips. But, sky diving???? I can imagine the rush that must be.
