Our 15" only just about fitted the safe in our garden view room but we're not sure if the safes in the tower and quiet pool rooms are different...….
It won't but as long as it's backed up, I wouldn't worry to much about it. I'm sure it has happened, but we've never heard of anything being stolen from rooms there. We put passports, credit cards and jewelry in the safe, but we leave most everything else out.
We’ve never had a problem before either but I guess you never know. Wish I didn’t even have to bring it but I struck a deal with my boss to check emails ( in the early am only! I get up at 6 every morning, wife is a Ninish riser). Think I’m just going to download the mail server on a tablet that seldom gets used but there are so many firewalls and restrictions it’s a pain in the ass!
Not to sound judgey, but do we actually NEED to bring our PC's on vacation, or is it an opportunity to tech-disconnect for a week or so? Discuss. (... yes, some jobs, business-owners, family situations or pending major transaction folks cannot fully disconnect, but would suggest that the majority of us likely can. It's really none of our beeswax what people do on their vacays. Just throwing it out there. Apologies to the OP for the diversion. Enjoy your 17" )
As stated, I wish I didn’t have to and rest assured it won’t see the light of day past 8am. I could go in to a diatribe about why it’s necessary, but yes I cannot completely disconnect
