Does anyone know the best way to go about adding one more night to the end of our stay? We are booked for the last week in November (5 nights) and would like to add one more night. We booked through Orbitz and aside from calling their office, I don't see a way to add a night to our stay (and change our return flight). I'm now wishing I'd used a travel agent. Has anyone added a night before? I remember wanting to add a night last year, too, and tried to do so when we were at TTR, but by then they had sold out. Thanks for the advice!
We added a night to this upcoming trip but we were booked through the resort so it was super easy and they said it will be seamless. I have also stayed an extra day (decided during the trip) and again added that on via the resort. I think your best bet is to speak with orbitz. Good luck!
We had originally booked the hotel only thru a travel agent, we decided to add an additional night and we just emailed the resort and they added the night and sent us a credit card form to fill out to pay for the additional night.. Luckily we booked airfare separately, so it was an easy fix and didn't cost anything to change the airline tickets. If you call Orbitz, they should be able to do both for you if you speak to an actual person.
Calling the hotel is easy but they need to rearrange flights and lodging. We have done this through Expedia, it was a breeze. Just call the 800 number listed and have your booking number handy.
I only booked a separate night, for some reason trying to add it through the agent it was about $20 more expensive, and i also bought a separate one way flight, its better than paying a fee plus the difference bettween flights.
yeah but need to be sure they can get the extra night first or may even need to change rooms never know if hotel is “ sold out” which if so is most likey bs for hype and price reasons and as far as getting home always the walk/swim option! I dont know anything about the online travel sites as we are members and book direct through our Premier rep.
We have done this. The hotel is easy and the flight is too but you'll eat some bucks unless you paid for a refundable ticket, which is much more expensive. Just handle the extra night as a separate reservation. We didn't even use the same travel site but shopped and found a really good deal for one night. When we checked in, we showed them the two different reservations and asked if we could stay in thee same room. It was no problem, but we did have to go down to the front desk and have our keys re-keyed for the last day....no big deal. For the air, we just bought a separate one-way ticket.
