Grrr... after 4 weeks of scouting, I haven't been able to find this exercise tool anywhere in Cancun Ive asked at 3 different Marti`s, Gym shops etc. but NOTHING! I wanted to ask if anyone coming/going from the States, Canada and/or Europe could buy one and bring it here. Of course I`ll give a "few pesos" for the trouble Back home in Sweden they cost 15-25 $US. Ive checked Ebay, but the cost of getting it shipped here doubles the whole price Found a couple on Mercadolibre, but the sellers didn't have the best customer reviews and none of them want to specify that its actually new. Have you tried the "As seen on TV" places? There's a kiosk in Las Americas and one outside of Soriana. Don't know if they've got them but it's worth a shot. Good luck! (You can always just find someone to hold your feet for those sit ups, si?) :wink:
Hey Rawkus, try downstairs in Liverpool or Sears, i've seen them before and for certain seen them in our gym, i'll keep a look out for you and if not will ask the gym where they get them from.
CancunCanuck: Ok, have checked them, but no luck They had all these other things, one of scarily reminds me of "Old Sparky", the legendary electric chair.... Sit ups? Cant stand them and they are not as effective as I want them to be... Also they make my lower back hurt quite a bit... CancunCanuck and Sam: Went to both the "as seen on tv" shops - nothing SEARS and Liverpool both came with the same answer: "We stopped selling them 1.5 years ago"... So I`m still on square one. If ANYONE knows anyone who's coming and would be willing to bring one from US, Can or EU that would be great Thanks.
Problem solved - a friend in Monterrey will send me one, bought in San Diego. Thanks for your suggestions people
