Ha, he confessed. I don't know how many baseball fans are out there, but this is HUGE. I kind of respect the fact he admitted it, but there goes his ticket to Cooperstown. I'm guessing the whole Bonds case scared him a little.

This guy is going to get booo'd at every stadium, maybe even his own...

The fact that he admitted it saved his ticket to Cooperstown in my opinion. Look at Pettite and Giambi, both admitted to using and look, no one really even cares about it. Its the guys like Bonds, Clemens and Palmiero who screwed themselves over by lying about it.

It still is unfortunate, but by no means it is surprising. For ONCE I agree with Schilling in his defense of Arod and the list that wasnt supposed to be released. Gotta make it public now....

    I'm still an A-Rod fan

The only reason he will be booed at home is if he strikes out in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs with 2 men on and down by 2 runs......against the Boston RedSUX.

thats just how it is in NY and what the best fans in the world are like.

not because of this steriod thing. NY will forgive him. and lets not forget, he was a Ranger then, NOT an Yankee

This whole thing does suck and its a shame it did happen. Im not a huge A-Rod fan. I like that he's here, but didnt throw a party when he came here. He seemed sincere on the interview, but then again, anyone can be a great actor.
I just dont see why he had to do it. I dont think he needed too. he is a great player without it.

I just would love to see who the other players were??? im sure Boston fans are soooooo thrilled about this, but werent they eager to get him a few years ago??? and who are the other players??? can u imagine if it were say..... Ortiz, Manny, Pedro???? that list needs to be shown to everyone now!!!

I have always hated the yankess, but A-Rod has always been a poster child of what clean baseball players look like. A very sad thing to hear, but I am happy he came clean and didnt try andn pull a Clemens. I think he will be forgiven and make the HOF to be honest!

Very true. Hell, we even boo each other at times. Miss a foul ball.......you get booed. Sit in the box seats next to the bleachers......you get more than booed.

ARod is and always will be a lightning rod for negative attention because of how good he is. With or without steroids. I respect him for admitting it, but still think it's wrong that he did do it.

Pete Rose will never make the HOF because of gambling on baseball. Why should any of the steroid cheaters?Professional sports is pathetic.Ben Johnson was a worldwide disgrace when he was caught in 1988.Surely his counterparts were doped as well.Today we talk as if juicing is okay as long as the user seems sincere and apologetic when he/she admits to using.

i still don't think his apology was sincere. And i can't figure out whether he hurt GNC by mentioning their name so much or helped them. Nonetheless, i still think he's a great hitter, but not the greatest fielder. Guess they don't make drugs for eye hand coordination.

Also, can't figure out why they picked on him. what happened to the others on that list?
