In about ten days we will be at Temptation for the third time since October and it's quite possible we will make another trip before the year is out. So far I've managed to escape post check in chat where they try and sell you the membership.

    Can anybody tell me:
A - How much it costs?
B - Is it worth it?
C - Does membership benefit you at the Desire Resorts (we are there from August 03 for three nights)?

    Thanks
    Sheridan&Ginger

PS - Excited to arrive on July 28!!!

On our second trip we asked to talk to someone about a timeshare. We did become members and now in our seventh year, we feel the savings we have made outweigh the price we paid. Prices vary tremendisouly depending on what you are looking for. Haven't been to Desire yet

They have different levels the gold membership is around 40000.00 for 10 or more years going anywhere not just Temptation or Desires. for 399 a week. Air fare not included. It would be worth it only if you go on numerous vacations. I didnt buy into it.. I maybe get lucky to go away once a year still have 3 young ones at home. Maybe if you are emptynesters and retired. They prices they give are negotiable barter with them.

This is our 3rd year going as members and we think it's worth it. They constantly change everything about the membership, so you will have to go to the meeting and check it out. Be straight forward with them and tell them straight up you only want to go to the office and check out the numbers. It should cut your meeting time in half. All the numbers are negotiable, so prepare to negotiate as much as possible.

We got the lowest package which is 25 weeks to use in 25 years. I did the math and it would take roughly 12 trips to pay for itself. The more weeks you sign up for the better of a deal you can get.

I would only get the time share to use at Temptation (or one of their resorts). I don't think it's worth it using the RCI thing at other resorts (my opinion).

We are members and find it it totally worth it. Definitely negotiate with them if interested. They cut the cost in half when we were going to walk. The RCI membership is great - you could travel just about anywhere, however, we will go to TTR every year forever. LOL. PM us if you want any more info! Tiff of TRACO

We're members. Only make it down once a year right now because we have three at home, but long term, I believe it will be worth it. Best advice: say no, no, no until they give up, then say yes. That'll be your best offer from them.

We're members and think that it was not a bad deal at all. Drop us an email and we can go over details and benefits.. Safe travels and enjoy.
