Has also been circulated as "The Escort" and "Red Fridays". Thanx to Karan who prompted me to look around. This link includes the message that was forwarded and a couple familiar, but fitting pics.

    Michael,

Thanks for the link, and the cry that followed. I'm sitting here in the shop hoping no customers come in to find me crying my eyeballs out after reading that. Thankfully, none did.
For the past two years I've been sending care packages to our troops and although everyone that I've sponsored in Iraq and Afghanistan has come home, it hurts to remember those who didn't. I already miss being able to mail stuff out...not such a great mail system here in good ole MX. I guess I'd better start saving my money...I've had 16 men/women that I've sponsored in the past two years and I've told them that if they ever make it down to Cancun, diving's on me!

    Thanks again...
    Kris

    That was touching.

Don't forget about sites like http://www.heromiles.org/ where you can donate your FF miles to troops coming home for leave and family members visiting wounded soldiers.

    wow, thanks for sharing.

    kinda off topic....
I don't know how people could really protest at any soldier's funeral....such disrespect.

(sorry, didn't mean to hijack with that thought Michael )
