There are hotels on both sides of TTR. One side also has the boat dock. Neither hotel has a good look in at what is going on at TTR.

I think you can only go topless at the TTR beach.

If you turn right at the water line, you can walk perhaps 10 minutes to the inlet and docks where the dinner pirate ships dock. Nice little stroll. Ships sail around 6 PM nightly. You can then walk up the road past a few random little shops, trinkets, t shirts, etc.
If you go the other way along the water, about a 20 to 30 minute walk is as far as you can go; gets nasty after that (vegetation wise).
Both ways there are some hotels, what look like 2 story private houses (rentals maybe). Very safe, nice place to take a stroll, jog, etc.

I don't think we've ever been for a stroll along the beach lol... We did walk to where the pirate ships leave but went the road way. We talked to quite a few people who go jogging on the beach though and said it was lovely like you said, and very safe... maybe this year we'll take a morning stroll. What is it with TTR that you may not get to bed till 4 or 5 am and still wake up at 6am... maybe it's your body telling you not to miss out on anything :crab:

Yeah, you can catch up on your sleep when you get back home. Seems like there's always something fun going on at TTR. But a stroll on the beach is always fun. And watching the pirate ships load and sail off is interesting. We usually do that a couple times.
