    Hi to everybody,
as stated in the title I am a little lost now, I was planed to be @Temptation 21-24 march with my wife.
This was part of a bigger trip which my wife had to cut short now for family reasons.

Since then I spent now some time browsing in the forum and finally decided to still come, but now alone.
Just hope to be still be welcome as single (for the trip) and have good time.

Any additional advise above the ones that spread the forum is appreciated

Thanks and looking forward to meet lot of interesting people...
    Peter

Just be friendly. The easiest way to look at how to fit in as a single person is: If your goal isn't trying to hook up, you will probably be welcomed and have a great time.

What S-Steve said above. You've got an interesting story, being married and visiting TTR but not having your wife there which will prove, interesting to you but I'm sure you'll have a great time. As stated, just be open & friendly as you meet people in/around the big pool area (called the Sexy Pool) and in no time at all you'll have made some new best friends forever. It's that kind of place.

    Thanks for the reassurance.

2 questions came into my mind:

    1) How does it work with the dinner reservations, is that something that easily works for the same evening or is it more like that its better to call before your even arrive at the resort ?

    2) For the theme nights, is there a shop onsite to complete stuff forgotten before, or is it important to ensure you bring everything.

You only need dinner reservations for She (which is couples only) and the Hibachi tables in Sutra. Just make the reservation when you arrive at the resort, but you will need to do it before the evening since Hibachi is pretty popular.

Yes, the resort store does have something for all the theme nights, but it's pricey for what it is. Fine for last minute forgotten stuff/accessories but best to plan ahead.

I just got back from my 5th trip going single. If you are sociable, participate in activities, games and themes, you will have no trouble meeting people and having a great time.
    As for your 2 questions:
    1) How does it work with the dinner reservations, is that something that easily works for the same evening or is it more like that its better to call before your even arrive at the resort ? Any time I went to dinner alone I never waited to be seated. If new friends invited me to join them and we didn't have reservations it was never a very long wait. You just went to the bar and had a drink.

    2) For the theme nights, is there a shop onsite to complete stuff forgotten before, or is it important to ensure you bring everything. If you plan on participating in the theme nights (which I highly recommend) check what's going on each night either for the resort theme or the Cancuncare group themes for the time you are there then pick one and bring what you need with you. It's a lot of fun but even if you're don't want to the people watching is just as fun.
