hello all :aktion030:, well i have a few questions for anyone who can answer them for us,a couple of friends of ours booked a trip to TTR which will start on the 2ND of Sept, the wife and i are not swingers but we know a few and have no problem with those who are, ive read many reviews and i have to say the ones about the rooms being run down and the ac not being up to par does have me a little concerned. we are not new when it comes to traveling seeing we have been to punta cana twice and Mexico 5 times now, the last time was in march of this year. we are thinking about trying TTR for the first time with our friends in September. my questions are 1 are the rooms as bad as some people say? 2 does the ac work? I'm only asking because i need it cool when i sleep. and can someone explain the them nights for us, which night is which and the activities they have.and do you need to dress the part to attend. the place sounds like a blast and i'm sure we will fit right in so any info would be a help. and as for those time share people i have them running from me befor my trip is over.
TTR isn't a 4 star resort........it's more like a 2.99. If the AC in your room doesn't work.......demand......and I mean demand a different room! You may have to be assertive.
We have been there twice and both times the rooms were clean and the AC worked like a champ. No problems, we only ever ask to change rooms so we are closer to Patios. We only use the rooms to sleep, shower and SH!@ though lol well and for 1 other important reason
been a few times. once had a room where the ac unit was weak. didnt have to demand , just called the front desk and they moved us no problem. :aktion033::aktion033:
we ben there twice this year alone and we never had any problems at all i think i ll give it allmost 4 star, once we had to turn air down, and yes u guys will have a good time we will be there again oct 1st to 8th, theme nights ?? what ever u wanna dress or nothing,(thats the best LOL) have fun.
thanks for getting back so quick about the hotel room/ac. what about the theme nights? do they post what nights are what?
They moved us also when we asked. By the time most people get back to their rooms, they are in no condition to judge the quality. Depending upon how late you sleep, the as soon as you get up you will want to get out of the room and get to the pool/bar.
we've been to TTR cabo, and TTR cancun. both are old resorts, but both are clean, very clean. we've been to 5 stars with the exact same quality of room as TTR, and to be honest, the only difference we''ve seen between a 5 star, and ttr ( or any other resort less then 5 star) is the food selection. ttr has good food, just perhaps not the complete variety of the 5 stars
