The article says it's not known under what circumstances the young man drowned; but, while enjoying Cancun's beautiful sand, surf and sea, don't forget that nature is no respecter of mankind: observe the red warning flags that are flying on the beach when the wind and waves are up.
Very sad. Lessons can be learned from tragedies like this. The surf here is for real and needs to be respected.
