Hi everyone! Just wondering about the 24hr pool I saw on the resort site. How is it? Haven't read much about it on the reviews on here. Also what's the deal with towels and saving a seat by the pool? You have to turn your towels in?
I don't think the 24hr pool is used that much to be fair. It is only the small sports pool, and I think the idea of dipping in late at night doesn't appeal to most, as there isn't a bar or something close, plus security keep a good eye on you there (from what I've heard). We jumped in on the night of the pool party, swam about a bit then got out. Yes you have to turn in your towels and collect a new one each day. To reserve a chair you just put a t-shirt or similar over it instead. We never bothered reserving chairs, because on the days we went down early there was always somewhere to sit. On the days we were a little late, we just plonked ourselves down in the pool, by the bar, or by the side of the pool. Somebody from Cancuncare who has reserved a seat will always let you put any stuff you bring down with you next to their chair.
