We have a jacuzzi room booked (the one with the tub on the patio)... i have read about the drops of love package, and wondering if they will do that upgrade in the regular jacuzzi room? I like the idea of all the extras, but i don't want the jacuzzi suite, i really want the patio jacuzzi room. Anyone ever tried this?

Also, i have not traveled outside the US since i was a kid, so sorry for the silly questions, but...

    1. do i need to bring my drivers license? or just my passport?
    2. my meds that i need to bring, do i have to bring them in their prescription bottles with label, or can i just put the few pills in a little container that's not marked?
    3. i'm really hoping to find some vanilla bean pods while down there, can i bring them back, or will customs take them?

thanks, guys! 4 weeks from today! yipee!!

    #1 -Just your passport
#2 - I use a weekly pill container w/ each days supply in them along w/ a list of each med. never had a prob, but i think you're actually supposed to use script bottles.
#3 - If you can get them, and if they're in a sealed container, you might just luck out, otherwise they might confinscate them, sorry. :( Good Luck!!

    We'll see ya there!!! 26 days!:flash: :flash:

    1. You'll need your passport to travel outside the U.S. so you might as well stick with that. But I'd keep it in a ziploc baggie so it doesn't get wet. If you plan on going to the clubs, you could bring your driver's license and put the passport in hotel safe.
    2. You're supposed to keep them in their marked/labeled bottles, but if you're checking your bag, you can probably put it in a different container. Just make sure you carry a list of what those meds are, in case there are any questions.
    3. I don't think those will make it through Customs, but *maybe* if you're able to hide them in your checked baggage . . . (shrugs)

As for the jacuzzi room, we had the regular rooms with the jacuzzi on the patio, and that was awesome. I'm sure if you asked about the Drops of love, they could do that for you without the room upgrade . . .

    =)

The drops of love package contains a Jacuzzi room with priority option to upgrade at an additional charge to the suite , theres only four of them ocean front I believe.

Cutie I think that most have covered what you need here but a suggestion regarding your drugs, count out what you need place them in their scripy bottle and store the extra safe at home. That way you comply with the standards and only have enough drug to get by. This allows you to carry them up top(carry on) so you will not lose them. Lastly on the rare chance you spill them down the drain you could likely be refilled in mexico with the script on the bottle.

If you plan to go to Isla Mujeras and rent a golf cart you'll need a DL. I go most every trip.
