I have finally booked 2 weeks i arrive on the 30/11/13.
Are there any bars or restraunts shops and so on with in walking distance from the hotel or are they all a bus or taxi ride away ?
I have seen the hotel advertised in several different places some say drinks and food are availible 24 hours a day and others say 12 hours a day which one is it.
And finally why is the sexy pool called the sexy pool.
    Thanks Gavin

We never went off resort so not sure about what is walking distance.

Once the restaurants close, burgers are available until 5 or 6 am and then a restaurant opens for breakfast, so food is available 24 hours.

Sexy pool is called that because the activities the staff do there are not just water aerobics, bingo or trivia games that are played at other resorts, they are sexier games. I'm sure others can elaborate.

The resort does offer semi-escorted tours to different clubs, each night is different.

Coco bongo, is the one every one says not to miss.

You have to find your own way back to the hotel.

The bus is less than 1 USD and will take into town or throughout the hotel zone. There are many shopping malls within the hotel zone and some great places to eat in either direction. The bus stops are right outside of the resort.

There's not much within walking distance. Worth a quick trip just for a look around but nothing very exciting.

The cab drivers are really good at pointing out good places to eat that are hidden gems - last year we ate at an Argentinian restaurant that was amazing - it's in the same plaza as Coco Bongo's and a short cab ride or bus ride. Just ask the bus driver to let you know where to get off and they are good with directing. :icon_biggrin:
